Hey im using parallels on my mac and whenever i try to play any game on steam it just doesnt start up.

help please.

hi,
what version of Parallels Desktop are you using? 3D support presents just at 3.x product versions. Also there are issues with games require DirectX 9.x at the current PD version:

same problem, and steam keeps giving me this "wine3d_CapsWindow error" I got into day of defeat - half life 1 engine - it kicked me out saying my resolution was different from my other os. Im finding it frustrating as a I got in a second time but my screen was so far stretched I couldnt change the options too put it on a different res or to opengl - plz this is driving me nuts... PS installed the tools, I have 3.0 and I have direct x checked.
