Stop Parallels from automatically starting Windows

I am very sick and tired of Parallels automatically starting my virtual machine when I accidentally click on something in macOS. I've adjusted parallels in the recommended way to prevent this from occurring - yet this continues to be an issue.

I NEVER want Parallels to start automatically - under ANY circumstance.

Why can't this simple thing be accomplished?

 

Okay, I take it there isn't a solution for this problem.
