Hi, I am new to parallels and have quickly run into an issue. I installed the software and then went to download windows 11, it seemingly completed the download but then began to display an error of no internet connection (which i do have). I restarted the download and it now is stuck on 4/4g downloaded and 'starting download'. It seems unable to complete and I can't understand why. I am on a new airmac M2, I also use my phone as a modem and hotspot if that matters.
Same here. Once I got to this error, I paused it while I searched for and read this exact post, and it finished.
If anyone else runs into this problem and finds this post doing a Google search, what fixed it for us is deleting the download from /Users/"username"/Library/Parallels/Downloads then attempting the install again
Still not working. I'm migrating from an Intel-based Mac to a M4 Mac. I had successfully installed Win11 on the Intel Mac. Im trying to create a new Windows 11 VM on the M4 Mac but the download process gets to the end of the download and stops. Suggestions?
It does, you just have to use the "Go To Folder" function under the Go menu. Apple hides more system folders in Sequoia than they have in the past.
This also just worked for me. Quit Parallels, deleted the file, started back up and clicked download.
I wonder if I could chance doing something about having somehow acquired 2 versions of Windows 11 ... one is called Windows 11 and the other Windows 11 (1). I have absolutely no idea how I did it but I seem to have a knack. Besides that I have downloaded the latest version of CorelDraw thinking that new means better. It isn't better! I no longer have previews to my CorelDraw files and besides that it won't let me access files from older versions of CorelDraw. Some going back over many years. Just when I thought nothing else can go wrong, I now have no access to my printer, a Canon Maxify MB5160. I believe this is called 'progress' and I hope it soon begins to feel like it.
