Ever since I moved from version 2 to version 3 (Now at build 4560), I experience sudden shutdowns, usually when the product is in the background. All I'm running is IE 7 and a terminal program (running our company's ERP program). Neither are exactly processor or software intensive, and rarely do I actually access them. About every 24 hours or so, the Parallels just shuts down. I've reinstalled the product. I've done a clean install. I've done everything short of giving up. I've emailed Parallels customer service who's response was "We know about the problem." When 4560 came out, they emailed me to install it, but it has been useless. What a frustrating product. I wish Boot Camp would run in the background of OSX, because I've had it with Parallels.
