Support for Plain Disks

I made the mistake of creating a plain disk and I am now stuck waiting for help in compressing using the compressor tool. Apparently, it will not work on plain disks. Also, plain disks cannot be expanded. I am stuck with a 30GB XP image that shows only 3 GB remaining in Windows however on about 10GB of the 30 is actually being used. I have resorted to creating an additional HDD and now have a 10GB E: to handle the overflow.

Does anyone know when Parallels plans to distribute and update to support compressing or expanding plain disks? I have the latest build 4560.
