Support for Symantec VPN Client

Under WinXP guest, I'm trying to install our office VPN client. It gets to a point were it is trying to do something with the network configuration and crashes with the error message:

Error Number: 0x80040707
Description: Dll function call crashed: Uninst:InstallUpgradeDriver

Setup will now terminate.

It looks like the install procedure is trying to replace the existing network driver with a VPN driver... but it is failing. Is this due to something in the Parallels network driver? I'm using OSX host and XP guest.

I'm not totally familiar with the Symantec VPN but I'm running the sonicwall VPN client with no issues. One thing to double check is that you are installing the VPN client with administrator privilages. I'm assuming you check the Symantec website for the latest client software version.
