There are a couple issues I see around suspend:
a) I haven't figured out how to suspend a VM except quitting Parallels. That's odd - why isn't there a suspend button?
b) if OS X suspends (which it does frequently on a MacBook that is run off power supply - the very good suspend/resume capability is one of the strengths of OS X), things go all wrong with the VM. Usually I cannot get it back and have to reboot it (running XP Pro SP2 with all the latest fixes applied as guest)
