How do I get the internal DVD drive on a Mac to be able to be 'switched' between OS x and Windows?
Can this be done while the VM is running, or can this only be done at VM boot? I want to be able to have the physical drive accessible by both operating systems - even if it's via some sort of toggle.

Pulling the last of my hair out trying to get this to work.

Never mind .... figured it out.
    a) Go to the Parallels Desktop Control Center (v10)
    b) Click on the Settings 'gear' symbol for the VM.
    c) Click on the Hardware tab
    d) Choose CD/DVD item in list of Devices
    e) Check/uncheck the 'Connected' box for the CD/DVD drive (or choose the drive if you have more than one attached to your system), then close the window
    f) The CD/DVD drive will then be immediately associated with either the VM or OS X - depending on the choice you made in step e)
