Switching between full screen and non-full screen

I'm is missing something or is there a way to have two different XP display settings one for full screen and one when on the OS X desktop? Since there are no scroll bars you can get to the lower part of the screen when you not in full screen. If you make the screen smaller then you not at full resolution when in full screen mode.

If this can't be done in the current release I suggest that Parallel should add an auto screen resolution switching mode.

It already exists. Set your screen resolution in your non full screen to whatever works as a window on your system. When you select Full Screen, it will automatically change the resolution (by default, settings in preferences) to maximize the screen. Alt-Enter (or whatever you change it to in the preferences) will take it out of full screen mode, and return it to the settings you set before going to full screen.

Your right although I'm 95% sure it was not doing that when I first installed the tools. While waiting for a reply I did reboot after setting up a shared folder. Could have been the reboot.

All I can say is WOW, this is working great. Once the tools are installed the idle CPU usage goes way down. Too bad I have to remove it for now but it's my daughters new MacBook and I need an additional copy of Windows. My system is an iMacG5 so I'll have to wait till I get my new Mac and another copy of Windows before I can use it. In the mean time I'm ordering two copies so I'll be ready to go.

when you shift to fullscreen andthe cube turns.....does your display then go black for an instant and then the full screen comes up? If it doesn't I must be doing something wrong!
