switching tasks takes long (sometimes)

Hi, I wonder if someone else is having the same anoying issue.
Sometime when I switch between a Mac and a Windows Task(Program) it can take up to 4-5 seconds until it switches.
This happens as well, when I switch between 2 Windows tasks (Programs).

I had the same issue under PD6 and PD7.

I am running a Macbook pro wiht 8GB and have 3GB assigned to the VM.

Your RAM sounds adequate for most needs. I think I gave my setup 4Gb, which was the upper half of what Parallels recommended.

How much video RAM do you have set for the VM? I think mine is set to 512Meg, but 256 worked well for most things too.

I'd check my setup but Parallels is still doing the latest update - I hope it finishes before I have to go to bed!
