I have figured out that the Sygate Firewall "VPNSecurityAgent_4.1" is what is causing my internet connection issues with Parallels 3. This did not cause any issues with 2.5.

Does anyone have any ideas on how yo fix this issue, as I need this Sygate software to be able to VPN into my office. Without the Sygate, I am unable to load "Network Connect" which is required by our VPN.

This is a major issue for me, as I have to VPN into the office on a daily basis with my MAC.

    Please help!

    Dumb stuff first:
    - Reboot your Mac
    - Don't start Parallels - start your VPN and see if it works

If that doesn't work (and chances are excellent you've already tried)
    - Shut down Parallels and
    - Reinstall Sygate
    - Uninstall Parallels 3.0 and install Parallels 2.5 3188

All of the options above except for re-installing version 2.5 did not work. The issue is when I am using my Parallels VM and install Sygate (which is needed for my corporate VPN), something is changed in Parallels by Sygate. Once this happens, I can no longer connect to the internet in my VM. I still have full connectivity from my MAC, just not in Parallels.

Parallels Team - Do you know of any issues and possible work arounds with Sygate?
