System Log: "Restarting CiscoVPN..."

In my System Log, I get the following line every time I wake my machine. Can anyone explain what it is and how it relates to Parallels?

Is your VPN client configured to autolaunch when a tcp/ip connection to your VPN network is attempted?
 
Thanks for weighing in dkp. What I failed to mention in my first post is that I haven't installed and don't use any VPN clients! That's why this line caught my eye as being out of place.

This line appears in the log when the machine is booting, so Parallels hasn't even been launched yet. Nor can it come from a Parallels virtual machine.

So I guess I am trying to figure out if all Parallels installations do this or not. Please check your own System log and let me know if this is normal.

OK. Interesting. Here is a larger section of my System Log. You can see that Parallels is doing a lot in initialization. Then the CiscoVPN line...

That looks like some harmless code Parallels added to the startup. My usage of Parallels and VPN has shown that the load order of Parallels and Cisco VPN is important. The VPN will stop working following a new install of Parallels. Perhaps they found they could reduce support calls by running the Cisco stuff whether it's needed or not.

I should point out that my comment was a SWAG at best. Also - we don't know what the OP's log level is set to. I haven't looked to see if it can be found in my logs. I haven't run Parallels in a while.
 
I just checked my own system logs and they're pretty much useless owing to a Fusion bug that fills them with useless info. I'll try again with Parallels and see what comes of it.

Edit: I'm back. No Cisco messages - well, now you have yourself a fine mystery!

Interesting - that's what I'd suggested in my swag, but it doesn't show up in my log. I wonder it that might be because I'd already been running the VPN and it was already modloaded.
