I've just installed 5160, and my Windows Taskbar is missing once the VM finishes booting. I always run in single-window mode. The Taskbar shows up if I switch to Coherence mode, but that's no help It's missing in single-window mode and fullscreen mode. I can get it to come back by using the "Windows" key to get the Start menu, then altering the taskbar settings to auto-hide the taskbar and then changing that setting back to not hide the taskbar. That only lasts until I restart the VM, though. Anyone else having this problem?
The settings for hiding the taskbar in Coherence and windowed/full screen mode are separate, go to the "Applications" menu and select "Show Windows Taskbar" while in windowed mode to make it visible.
Great, thanks, that worked. Is that new in this release? It only started disappearing when I upgraded. Sort of seems like a strange feature. I can't think of why someone would want to remove the taskbar that way in windowed or fullscreen mode.
I second that. I feel it has to be fixed. 5160 installing, working perfect for me in other respects. Martin
