The activation key is not recognized as valid

1. I have the Italian version 3.0 (last build)
2. I bought the activation key for the upgrade to 4.0 Italian
3. I downloaded the versioen 4.0 in Italian
4. The activation key is not recognized as valid
5. I made some mistakes?

Updated:
The activation key is for the English version.
Why?
At purchase, I chose the English version is also the confirmation email came to me in Italian.

There you will be able safely send your upgrade key to get it's validity checked in our Online Sales Team. Please also specify your order ID in the ticket. (Please DON'T post this information in forum).
