I have a rather odd problem and I think it is specific to one machine. I can connect to the 2x server just fine however when I try and launch a shared application I get an error message "The client could not connect to the remote computer because of a security error" If you use the same user credentials on a different machine it works just fine. I have tried re-installing the 2X software. I tried exporting the 2x registry keys and importing them into a working workstation and it works just fine. The nearest I can tell is that it is a Terminal Services or RDP problem. The machine worked just fine until we pointed the client farm to a different address and now it is throwing that error message. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I would recommend to install the latest MS mstsc which will install the latest com object. I think the one on this machine is corrupted.

If the problem persists please check for any information on the server event log, still the problem seems to be purely RDP and not 2X
