"The Product Key Does Not Match Current Windows SKU"

Bit poster
I have loaded Windows 7 Ultimate on my new Mac. I got all the way though it
till this comes up when I enter my Product Key number:

"The Product Key Does Not Match Current Windows SKU"

What is the SKU? I didn't say "Invalid Key Number" But, the
message above. Please help in why can't I install Win 7 Ultimate?
Please email me directly too please.

I got the same error. Are you using a key from msdn downloads?
according to microsoft this error occurs when you have selected a version other than ultimate during the install (eg professional), then tried to use an ultimate product key.
I however did select ultimate during installation and i still get this error.
 
I'm having the same issue

I downloaded the ISO for the Win 7 Professional version from my technet subscription and get the same error dialog when I try to enter the product key.

Anyone have a solution to this?
 
I got mine working by downloading a different ultimate product key. I had to use a key for ultimate and ultimate K, when I actually downloaded and installed ultimate N. No idea why this worked.
