Please fix the timestamp on files/directories in the shared folder.
With Win XP as guest OS and Linux as host OS (I've tried both SUSE 10.1 & Ubuntu 6.06) the timestamp on the shared folder files doesn't appear when the files are viewed with details. Also if a file is opened in WinXP and resaved the timestamp on the file in the Linux folder is corrupted.
