Track pad not working! Please help

Unable to use VM. Can not click or move the mouse within windows. I tried pretty much most options I found on the web. It started when I plugged in a USB for my ps4 controller to play a full-screen game and I suspect it could be related. Within device manager on windows, there are 4 unknown USD devices with errors. it could also be that windows think I'm in full-screen mode for a game with a controller? not sure please help!! Coherence mode is unable to be used and say that mouse sync has not started, reinstall tools. Which I have done many times. Please help
