Transporter failing to install on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction on getting Transporter for Linux to install and run on Ubuntu 64 14.04 LTS. Attached is the install log. I'm guessing the problem has to do with warnings being treated as errors. But I don't see where I can set any CFLAG or CXXFLAG options.

Here is a small snippet:
cc1: some warnings being treated as errors

Thanks for any help you can provide.
