I've followed the instructions in this support document, but to no avail. When I go into configuration settings while the VM is shut down, the hardware options are still greyed out. For what it's worth, this is on Parallels 8, which I know is a pretty outdated version at this point. But it's running the latest build (8.0.18619) on a supported operating system (OS X Mavericks 10.9.5). The instructions in the article are clearly for a newer version of parallels, but I believe the general steps should be the same. Am I missing something? Thanks!
Hi @JohnM49 , please click on the lock symbol at the bottom left and then enter your Mac Password to proceed.
Thanks! The lock wasn't the issue - ultimately I had to "stop" the VM, rather than just simply shutting down. It must've been a bug, but I was ultimately able to expand the HD allotment.
