I have created a Windows 10 virtual machine on a Mac using Parallels Desktop for Mac. I am trying to run an exe file that's on the Mac and I can't figure out how to find the file from the Windows side. I have configured Windows 10 under options/sharing to share all disks. But the exe file, which is the Mac's downloads folder, isn't visible in the Windows downloads folder. And searching in windows for the file name fails.
I have also tried copying the file using command-C on the Mac and paste in Windows. No luck.
My toolbox license is expired, but I can't believe I need both a Parallels for Mac license and a Toolbox license. Please tell me it's not so.
    Thank you.

Parallels Toolbox is not needed for sharing files. You can try to open the .exe file directly from Mac side and check if it getting launched in Windows.
