When I try to install 4.0 upgrade with System 10.5.7, I get to a screen that says shut down all virtual machines in 3.0 and the screen shows three different versions of Windows XP it says are running. When I open the parallels 3.0 program I go to shut down but it still shows these running. I seem to be out of options.

Please try uninstalling Parallels desktop 3.0 using the build given below and then install 3.0 again. After the installation of 3.0 please try upgrading to 4.0.
