Trouble registering software - Machine ID

I am new to Parallels and tried to install a piece of software called Second and Ten. The program installed perfectly and runs well but I have not been able to register it. On the registration page the software is suppose to call up the machine Id but it cannot find it. I tried to enter the software key but it does not work. Has anyone else experienced this? This software is very basic and not complex and I am surprised I cannot make it work. DOUG W
