trying to reinstall 3.0 (5160) after system upgrade

Hi folks

a year ago I did a clean install of 10.5. Didn't reinstall parallels, but now RSI is kicking in and I need it for Dragon Naturally Speaking.

Unfortunately installer freezes at "reading install scripts" phase.

Can anybody help me? RSI making it difficult for me to hunt around for answers.

Hello Stephanie,

Build 5160 is quite old. You should better try to install build 5626 of Parallels Desktop 3.0. You can find the link to download it in this article:
