Trying to Reinstall ... problems!

I had Parallels running and then uninstalled it and removed all the files. Trying to now reinstall so I can try running vista on it.

When trying to reinstall from the CD I'm getting the following errors:

First it shows me somthing strange with the harddrive:

When I select the hard drive to continue I then get the following message:

I continue on and then get this:

I can't find the previous version installed anywhere. Tried a spotlight search and it doesn't find anything. Trying to install build 1970. I'm on a Macbook Pro 2.33MHZ + 3GB Ram

Any help would be great.

I am having the exact same problem, I have searched for file that are part of Parallels Desktop for Mac and removed all. I have emailed support but they are slow to respond.

Please help,
Jim :(

Try this:
Go into /Library/Receipts and delete the Parallels Desktop installer( i'm unsure of the exact name right now). Then empty the trash and try again. It worked for me.
