The app prompted me to try the Hide Menu Icons. I just wasted 15 min giving it a try, enjoyed it (!), and then discovered there's a known bug. I'm on an M1 Mac running Sonoma 14.
Turn off recommendation to try "Hide Menu Icons" until bug fix
