I just read this article on macrumors : http://www.macrumors.com/2009/05/11/citrix-demos-of-a-new-kind-of-virtual-machine-for-mac/ .
I was rather impressed by the possibilities of a type 1 Hypervisor (PDM is a type 2), specially the possibilities of controlling the hardware directly (I hope it only needs VT-x and not VT-d), this would mean no more Parallels Tools (drivers) and direct access to Firewire, are there any plans for Parallels to make a type 1 Hypervisor?
