Ubuntu 22.04.02 LTS - Cannot Install Parallels Tools

Latest kernel update in Ubuntu 22.04.02 LTS breaks the Parallels Tools install.
Root cause seems to be the compiler change used for the new kernel as reported in var/log/parallels-tools-install.log
