Ubuntu 6.1 on Windows Parallels 2.2

I am trying to install Ubuntu 6.10 on Parallels 2.2 under Windows XP SP2.

First of all, what Guest OS should I select? Debian? Generic Linux w/2.6 Kernel?

Second, during the installation, when I open the Set Date dialog from the second install screen, the installation program locks up (but not the VM itself). Anyone else experience this?

Ubuntu is based on Debian, so that's what you should choose. If you're having problems with the livecd, try the alternate cd.
