Ubuntu 8.10 Visual Effects

Does Parallels 4 support Ubuntu Visual Effects? In the past Parallels did not, since it didn't do 3D. Now, it supposedly does, but I still can't get Ubuntu Visual Effects to work. I'd appreciate and update or a suggestion on how to get this going.
