While OpenGL emulation looks good with WinXP it's terribly slow in Ubuntu/Kubuntu. However the video acceleration is (inabled or disabled) nothing changes about OpenGL's speed in Ubuntu. Looks like is always managed via software.
Could this be related to the fact that I'm running it on a "poor" Intal GMA 945 (MacBook 1st rev) or is there a setting that must habe to be done in Ubuntu in order to benefit from OpenGL in virtualized environment?
By the way, this happens also with Fusion but here it is not clear if and how OpenGL is managed.
    TIA
    Simon

Come on, is there nobody out there using Compiz/Compiz-Fusion w/Parallels? If yes, then Parallels should emulate correctly OpenGL.

Actually it is related to hardware, and to OS you are running in VM (KDE4 may cause this glitches)
