Uninstalled 4128, downloaded 4560 and installed. Cannot activate new installation as all drop down menu options including Help are "greyed out". Have followed uninstall procedure from Parallels K Base a couple of time but no improvement. Anybody else have this happen & know of a fix?

    Try this:

    Uninstall Parallel
    Reboot the Mac
    Install Parallel
    Reboot the Mac.

Parallel installs a couple of low level kernel extension, unless you are familiar with unloading kernel extension on the command line, rebooting in between is the safest way to do it.

By the way make sure all of your VM have been shut down properly before an upgrade, no suspending.

After that it should be smooth sailing

    Thanks

Fixed the problem a couple of minutes ago, found the thread on uninstalling with command line scripts to flush out all residual files & settings.
