I have been using Parallels Desktop 3.0 for Mac successfully for about a week. I have a MacBook Pro 15.4" 2.4Ghz upgraded to 4GB of memory. This morning when opening Parallels, out of the blue, I get this error message... "Unable to allocate memory for monitor PE!" Anyone experience this or could perhaps provide some help? Thanks Richard
same here--"unable to allocate memory for monitor PE" Booted up this morning and got the same error message when it has been working fine since the initial install/upgrade. What gives? Parallels 3.0.4560 jg
I am having the same problem today. The only change I have made was to install iLife 08 before launcing Parallels after a reboot.
A change in my status. After 2 reboots of my 15" 2.4GHz MacBook Pro with Parallels 3 Build 4560, it is running again without this error. I made no other changes to any setting. I can't explain why this is now working but would like to know as we are rolling out several more instances of this and will need to support the end users. Thanks JMic
