Unable to connect to the internet in Windows XP / Parallels Desktop 12

Hi,

Recently I could't connect to internet via my VM (Desktop 10) and decided to upgrade to Desktop version 12 with a "fresh" Windows XP installation. Still having the same problem! I tried everything I could find. Re-installed Parallels Tools, switched networks (Shared, Bridged etc.) but no luck so far!

Any bright ideas?

Hi @StanB1, go to devmgmt.msc to check a status of the ethernet adapter. Also, check setupapi.dev.log for possible errors during Parallels Tools installation regarding network card. Please let us know if you are able to get internet connectivity in Safe mode with networking mode.

Thanks for your reply! I downloaded another browser (Chrome) and that one works! It seems that Internet Explorer is blocking acces to the internet for some reason.
