"Unable to detect operating system"

    Hello,
    I have a new Macbook Pro with OS X 10.10.4. I successfully installed Parallels.
    I went to my retailer and purchased Windows 10 on a USB. The installation files seemed to be in the wrong format (.exe).

    From my old computer, I downloaded Windows 10 from the Microsoft website on a USB drive using the recommended tool with the option of getting an image file (.iso).
    Once downloaded, I tried to drag the Windows.iso file from my USB to the Virtual Machine screen after selecting Image File.

    My question is why am I getting the above error message ? What can I do to install Windows 10?

    Please update Parallels Desktop 11 to the latest build 31277 and also refer to this article.
