Unable to install Parallels Desktop 7 on 10.8

Having updated to 10.8, I'm unable to install Parallels Desktop 7. The installer does its thing but ends with the message, "The installation failed" as it cleans up. Has anyone experienced/resolved this issue?

Solved

Bizarre. The log indicated that the installer was unable to extract one of the files in the bundle. Finally I downloaded a trial copy and that installed properly. At a loss as to why but it seems to be working.
