When I try to install the Parallels Transporter on SuseLinux 10.1 as described in the manual, I only get the following message: "Unable to find kernel '2.6.16.54-0.2.5-smp' sources."

A quick search here in this forum shows that I'm not alone with this problem –*regardless of the Linux distribution. So, what's up here?

Did you install kernel headers and kernel source for this kernel?

Not explicitely before trying to install the Transporter. I did install the kernel source during the original installation of Linux, though.

However, I just re-installed it and lo and behold: it works now. Maybe some link went down the drain during one update or the other.

    Thanks for the hint!
