Unable to install Windows 7 in trial Parallels 5

I'm attempting to install Windows 7 64bit from CD. I follow the wizard but when I click on the 'start' in the VM or try to install it just sits there with the spinning icon and nothing happens..

Am i missing something?? Looks like a very powerful utility, if only i could get it working.
