Hi,

First post here!

I had a client bring in a iMac with Parallels Desktop 9. When trying to launch the "Windows 7" virtual machine i get the following error:

The "Windows 7" application cannot be started.

The application is installed in a virtual machine that cannot be located. Make sure the virtual machine hasnt been deleted or moved to another location.

I launched Parallels and checked the preferences and the folder it is pointing to contains the Windows 7.pvm file.

I dont have much experience with Parallels software so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi ZachS3. Kindly double-click the Windows 7.pvm file and check whether it is getting started.

Thanks for the reply!

When i attempt to load the .pvm file i get the following error:

Parallels Mounter is unable to find the virtual hard disk to mount.

The virtual machine has no virtual hard disk in its configuration.
