When I click a file in the guest os (Vista) it tries to correctly launch an application in leopard. However, I always get the message: Parallels Desktop cannot open file FILENAME from the guest OS. You can open only files located on Windows drives (volumes) which have drive letterse assigned or in Parallels Shared Folders. I just upgraded to build 5570 to try to solve an ongoing shared folders and "unable to open file" problem I have had for the last few beta, and the current release build of parallels desktop. build: 5570 host os: leopard guest os: vista
Same here... I am also seeing this behavior, slightly different config build 5160 Mac OS: Leopard Win OS: XP Pro service pack 2
