Unable to open virtual bridge. Is it installed and started ?

The message with 1922. After updating tools, am unable to uninstall and go back to 1918.

Thanks...Workaround other than turning off networking?

Edit:

After rebooting the Max OS, it now works fine. Sorry for the false positive.
