Recently I started get a series of "Unhandled Win32 Exception" in various applications. When I use JIT to debug the various applications prlicd32.dll (parallels video driver) always seems to be in the stack trace.

I get this with various apps such as Yahoo Messenger, Rhapsody, Windows Media Player (only after I exit).

    Has anyone else experienced this?

    Rhapsody

    Hi,

I have a fully patched Windows XP install using the latest version of parallels. Everything runs nice, even lets me use my Nokia n95 but when I start Rhapsody I get a blue screen and a reboot. I uninstalled it and resintalled it along with various tests including upgrade IE to ver 7.

Please help as this is one of the main reasons I need this XP build.

    Cheers,

    Rhapsody error

Rhapsody will attempt to start, but before I get a chance to log in, it crashes and the module where the error signature info presented is:

    AppName: rhapsody.exe AppVer: 4.0.2.345 ModName: prlicd32.dll
    ModVer: 3.0.4560.0 Offset: 0000b362

It doesn't crash windows, but it is very consistent and reproducible.
    I'm running Parallels 3.0 ver 4560

I hope someone has some info on this?

Get the beta version of parallels 3. It fixed the issue for me. I think its a bug in the way it was handling memory.

I should say.. the newest release of Parallels 3. I own a copy and downloaded the newest beta and upgraded.
