Uninstall 1970 after upgrade to 3186?

I had been running 1970 and upgraded to 3186. Do I need to uninstall 1970? Just delete the application?

Thank you,

David

You still have 1970 after upgrading to 3186? That should not be the case.

I uninstalled 1970 (using the 1970 uninstall) and then installed 3186 on my Macbook, works great so far.

I installed all RC's over the original 1970 installed with no issues. It's actually the best way to upgrade. The only thing I did different was to copy my virtual machine over to a backup location then did the upgrade. This way if anything gets corrupt I can revert back to older version/backup VM.

I did the same.

What did you do with 1970 after you installed 3186?

I just upgrade on top of 1970, and so far there is no problem. I did not uninstall anything before the upgrade.

So you still have the 1970 installation as well as the 3186 one?
