Uninstall/delete virtual machine?

Hi everybody!

I'm new to this forum and to the whole Parallels software, but I have to admit it's great!

I only have 1 question : is it possible to, say, delete or uninstall completely a virtual machine? The reason I'm asking that is because I installed Windows XP as a guest OS and recently received Windows Vista as a gift!

Now I installed Windows Vista, but need to get rid of XP. Is there any way?
If I uninstall the whole Parallels Desktop software and re-install it, will I lose my Vista VM too?

not necessary

just file menu create new machine

clone the old onto an external hard disk
use the file menu to delete VM

I run my VM from a La Cie 800 firewire disk

and clone it to a second as back up
