Universal Printer not converting TIFF files

We've recently rolled out a new document management system that stores the majority of images in the TIFF format and what we're finding is that when we try to print to the universal printer we get either a blank page or a page that has just a ghost of the original image. Any annotations attached to the image, which I believe are BMP overlays, print great.

Is this some sort of TIFF to PDF conversion issue? So far we've been unable to come up with a solution.

We are on 6.2 build 512.

Thanks,
Brendon

Universal Printer pdf format

I too have a similar problem printing reports from fox pro. It has the company logo in the corner of the report. If using the pdf mode I get a black bx. If I change the print format to emf the problems is eliminated. I have plenty of users that take advantage of the view file first to either save local computer or email the pdf. I hope 2X can come to a resolution to this problem for pdf print format

in version 6.0 I didn't experience this problem.

server 6.2.528 windows 2003 sp2
clients 6.2.528

Thanks
Nick

emf is recommended over pdf. i would suggest you file a feature request to view emf or bmp before they are printed
