I haven't exactly pinned down what triggers this problem, but it seems to happen around half an hour after running PW. I don't remember seeing this problem before beta3, so maybe it's a problem in beta3.
At first when Windows inside the VM is idle, I have very low (~2%) CPU usage as well. However, after using it for a while, I notice that even when it's idle the CPU usage is high... around 100% total, which is basically half the CPU power since I have a dual core CPU and the total possible CPU usage is 200%.
So I shut down PW, but then the CPU usage stays around that. Activity Monitor shows that one of the two threads named 'Parallels' that appears when I start PW did not quit, and consumes that 100% CPU power.
If I force-quit this thread and restart PW, I get a warning dialog box regarding VMX being used by another application when I start up a VM.
