Windows 8 is installed with all updates complete. During the Win-update all compatibility checks are OK. The update runs smoothly (although taking half an eternity) until the first (Windows says there will be more than one) restart. The Win-update program then tells me that the update failed (not giving any specific reason) and it is reactivating the old version of Windows, i.e. Win 8. Anybody else making this experience or is there an advice? (all software running in German).
