Upgrade from Win7 64 bit to Win10 64 bit with MediaCreationTool64.exe error

I've just finished installing Win7 64Bit, confirmed by the system overview, which reports the Win7 system as a 64 bit OS.
From the page http://kb.parallels.com/122884 I downloaded the Win10 64 Bit version, ran the executable MediaCreationTool64.exe and the error dialog came up: "\\Mac\Home\Downloads\MediaCreationToolx64.exe is not a valid Win32 application".
This confuses me, can someone help?

All resolved, I also had a virtual WinXP running and that one hijacked the executable so the error message came from WinXP and not from Win 7.
Closing down WinXP and selecting to run the exe via Win 7 solved the problem.
