upgrading 3.0 with full version 5.0?

Hello,

I am running parallels 3.0 (latest version) for a long -and stable- time with XP pro on it as a guestOS.
I just bought a new, full parallels box 5.0 (so not an upgrade) here in the applestore (Netherlands) and also snowleopard.

I cannot find documentation anywhere here in the knowledgebase or forums how to properly upgrade from 3.0 to 5.0 with full version.

Can someone please tell me how to? For instance do I have to do a clean install? And how do I do that properly, so no issues are gonna happen?

never mind - I installed it as it was an upgrade.

2 Questions:

1. I converted my old xp-machine to 5.0. That went fine.
When I choose 'new' machine for installing w7 there was no assistent and in a few secs the new vm was made....68GB! What on earth happened? -I want a vm of max 40 GB for w7. Can I somehow make the vm smaller?

2. W7 is running smooth and fast, really nice! But my Mac OS is -after installing w7- slooooooooooow. What can I do about that?
