Upgrading from Parallels 2 to 3

Parallels 2 is working fine for me.

But always wanting to fiddle and have the latest tools, I've purchased and downloaded the v. 3 upgrade.

Are there any special tricks in doing the upgrade to avoid having to reinstall WinXP and all its apps?

Or do I just run the new upgrade dmg and it will automatically take care of all that?

The best trick is to back up your .hdd and .pvs files.

That is just for insurance, and because the install converts the files to new versions that cannot later be unconverted.

The install went smoothly for me. I did not have to reinstall anything.
